Whiting Bay

Felicity's at Bar Eden, Whiting Bay.  Open from 10am until late for coffees/tea, cakes & pastries, lunch and evening meals. Very popular so dinner reservations are recommended.  


The Glenisle Hotel - café, bar, restaurant and beer garden overlooking Holy Isle. Cosy fireside in the cooler months.  

The Lamlash Bay Hotel - newly refurbished bar and restaurant offering pasta, pizza and grill.  Lounge bar.  

The Drift Inn - offers an imaginative menu featuring seafood and locally sourced food and drinks.

The Pierhead Tavern (The PHT) is a stylish bar and restaurant with a regular programme of live music and events.  Roof-top terrace with sea views. 


The Douglas Hotel Bistro - café, bar meals and bistro. Great cocktails and whisky bar.

The Brodick Bar - bar and restaurant.

The Auchrannie Resort, Brodick: Cruize - family dining & bar, Brambles Seafood & Grill, eighteen69 - fine dining restaurant for a special occasion.

The Wineport - at the foot of Goatfell. Café/bistro open all day and evening.


The Stags Pavillion is a favourite venue with the locals. BYOB. 


The Kinloch Hotel - light snacks, bar meals and restaurant.  Open all year.  


The Lagg Inn offers a pretty riverside beer garden, bar and restaurant.


The Kildonan Hotel - Bar meals, a conservatory restaurant and beer garden by the beach. As well as evening dining, try the fabulous 'Eggs Benedict by the Sea' from the Sunday Brunch menu.


The Screen Machine is a travelling cinema visiting remote communities across Scotland. It parks up at the Auchrannie Resort and the lorry is magically transformed into a 80-seat cinema. Buy tickets online in advance.  Bring your own refreshments or try a pre-cinema meal in the Cruize Bar. 

NEW for Easter 2019:  A cinema is planned for the old ferry ticket office in Brodick.  Islanders and visitors will be able to enjoy the latest films with two 55-seater screens.  

Local Music

There are regular music sessions, visiting musicians and ceilidh nights throughout the year. Check the local paper, 'The Banner' for details.
